Friday night Workshop Intimate Dances Son Montuno & Bolero

with Randy ‘Papito’ Marques.

Randy will introduce us to Salsa-like, subdued and romantic dance forms. No new figures, but dancing by feeling. Very close. Very simple, very exciting, very fine. Sentiment, Flow, Straight from the heart, In touch…
Basic Argentine Tango or Salsa or dancing in general is sufficient prior knowledge.
We change a lot, so fixed partners are not necessary.
Ladies: High heels are OK, but low heels/flat shoes are also fine. Be on time! Joining halfway won’t do…

The link to Argentine Tango: Like Tango, it’s all about interpreting the music. However, the rhythm is constant, so variation comes into its own in tempo, dynamics and intention. There are no special steps The essence is making contact.

Randy will give this workshop on 5 July 2024, from 19:00 – 20:15, before Tango Café with DJ ‘El Fino’ Matéo Ataç (20:30 – midnight). During the Tango Café afterward, DJ Matéo will also play some Son Montuno and Boleros.
Participation in the workshop is individual and free.
