TipoTango, a not for profit organization, was founded in 1999 to expand and deepen Argentine tango. Almost daily we offer tango dancing in the exquisite dance hall SCALA. During the summer months of July and August we dance outside when the weather permits.
TipoTango exists of a number of enthusiastic tango dancers from Eindhoven and the surrounding area. A 3-person core takes care of the organizing – assisted by a circle of active dancers who help out during the activities: tangocafé, milongas, salons, workshops, courses, danceLAB and the multiple-day 4DTango around Ascension Day.
Several tango activities are a joint venture with Muziekcentrum Eindhoven, Plaza Futura, de Stadsschouwburg, and Effenaar.
